Very good book love all your books.
This series has bc even very enjoyable to read.All the stories have been great and of course full of love.I loved every word if each one.
It was okay, just felt cheated reading this book. There was very little romance. The focus felt it was too much on the children adjusting to their parent's death and what the couple were each doing to help them adjust life with them. Worst, from one chapter to another (the last two) it just jumps months, or years for all I know, and we finally get to the romance. However, the fun is us reading about it and I felt we read nothing about it until the very end.
Starts off with us learning about how couple met and heroine going to meet her intendant groom. Then, heroine is put in situation of having to pick between leaving and staying to help hero with this unexpected situation. Big chunk is hero thinking about how "unfair" the situation is for him and being upset at heroine on how she is handling situation (children). We even have to read about how children take their first day of school after their parent's death. Just felt the author could have made this short novella longer and given us more interaction between hero and heroine to get us to the final chapter.
I was disappointed in this read, but just because it was not for me doesn't mean someone else will not like it. It is a clean read. Safe read. The focus is more on the children adjusting with the couple after their parent's death, than anything else. We do get an epilogue at the end. Short read.
First time I read anything by this author and she writes a very good story. Love abounds when you least expect it. Felicity left a governess position to come and be a mail order bride. Little did she know that not only would she be a bride but a mother too. With love and understanding she helped to heal the wounded hearts
No developed end of storyline between husband and wife. Jumped from first days of marriage to chapter 9 having a baby and ended.
This story was about loving, forgiving, losing, growing in all ways and learning to deal with the worst a and come out on top. I recommend this book.toY
